We have recently and repeatedly received public feedback that numerous unscrupulous individuals have been misusing the Academia Sinica logo, falsely claiming that their products are the research and development achievements of Academia Sinica Researcher Dr. Wen-Ching Yang, and selling diabetes treatment products of unknown origin while claiming false efficacy.
The diabetes drug development associated with Researcher Dr. Wen-Ching Yang is currently still in the clinical trial phase, and no substantive finished drug has been released to the market. Any product advertised online claiming to treat diabetes is fraudulent. This situation has seriously misled and infringed upon the rights and interests of the public.
