Global Pharmaceutical Companies Show Strong Interest in PS1 as Pharmasaga Advances International Licensing and Co-development Opportunities

The four-day BIO International Convention in San Diego concluded successfully today, with Pharmasaga completing a series of business meetings with international pharmaceutical companies, leading animal health companies, and industry consultants. These discussions laid an important foundation for PS1's future out-licensing, co-development, and global market expansion.

Large Metabolic Disease Pharmaceuticals evaluate PS1

On the final day of the convention, Pharmasaga held discussions with major international pharmaceutical companies specializing in metabolic diseases, including companies that had previously been following PS1's development process. With Pharmasaga having completed its Phase 1 clinical trials, the discussions have now advanced to a review stage of the Phase I clinical data, where the other parties request that Pharmasaga prepare a complete Data Room for further review. Both sides have established an outlet for communication, where technical materials and clinical results will be discussed.

Major Indian Pharmaceutical Company Expresses Strong Cooperation Interest and Plans to Sign CDA for TA review

Pharmasaga also held discussions with a large Indian pharmaceutical company that expressed interest in PS1. The company was deeply impressed by PS1's novel mechanism of action, which focuses on protecting pancreatic β-cells and addressing the root cause of disease progression. It recognized PS1's unique product differentiation relative to the current drugs for treating diabetes, noting its global market potential.

Both parties are moving toward the signing of a confidentiality disclosure agreement, or CDA. After the relevant procedures are completed, the company will formally begin reviewing Pharmasaga's clinical and technical materials to further evaluate potential future cooperation.

Leading Global Animal Health Companies Actively Engage as New Co-development Opportunities Emerge

In addition to the human pharmaceutical market, PS1 drew strong interest in the animal health field.

During the convention, Pharmasaga held meetings with two of the world's top ten animal health companies. The other parties noted that current treatment for diabetes in dogs and cats still relies heavily on insulin injections, leaving a large unmet medical need.

PS1, which aims to preserve pancreatic β-cell function, received positive recognition from both companies. All parties have agreed to proceed with the signing of CDAs and arrange further discussions to explore potential co-development.

International Consultant Resources Support and Accelerate Global Licensing Strategy

Through professional consultants, who have extensive experience working with multinational pharmaceutical companies and broad industry networks, Pharmasaga has greater ability to connect with decision makers at multinational pharmaceutical companies. These networks will improve efficiency of future licensing, co-development, and strategic partnerships.

Completion of Intensive Business Discussions Marks the Next Important Milestone

During BIO International Convention, Pharmasaga completed multiple business meetings that expanded the company's global network and increased recognition of PS1 among pharmaceutical companies, animal health leaders, and industry experts.

Following the convention, Pharmasaga Chief Strategy Officer Wen-Chin Yang will return to Taiwan to focus on the company's next stage of work. Pharmasaga also plans to provide a more complete report on its recent business and technical progress at a later date.

The company stated that one of its most important achievements this year was the completion of PS1's Phase I clinical trials, which helped move the program from early interest toward more substantive technical review and commercial evaluation from outsiders. Pharmasaga will continue advancing PS1's clinical development and partnering with international companies, with the goal of bringing new treatment options to diabetes patients while supporting the company's long-term growth and shareholder interests.
